Dr. Amanda Hendriks, DC
Dr. Amanda Hendriks is dedicated to improving the health and quality of life for animals through safe and effective chiropractic care. As the founder of Collar and Saddle Animal Chiropractic, she specializes in treating musculoskeletal issues, enhancing mobility, and improving overall comfort for animals.
Dr. Hendriks began her academic journey at Brock University, earning her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, before continuing on to obtain her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). She further honed her skills by completing her certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University, expanding her ability to offer a range of therapeutic techniques. Her passion for animals led her to pursue Animal Chiropractic Certification through the Veterinary Chiropractic Learning Centre, and she plans to pursue certification in animal acupuncture in the future.
In addition to her work with animals, Dr. Hendriks provides human chiropractic care at Main Street Chiropractic Clinic, located in Grimsby.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Hendriks enjoys spending quality time with her fiance, as well as her dog, Boba. She also likes to stay active with pilates, yoga, and most recently, horseback riding. These activities keep her connected to her passion for health, movement, and the well-being of both animals and humans.
